For us, brand style is much more than cor­po­rate design. Style is the ques­tion of whether I should wear a tie or not, where­as design is ‘just’ about the colour of my tie. (Yes, we know ties are out of fash­ion, but the exam­ple is so won­der­ful­ly straight­for­ward). That’s why we see brands in a much more holis­tic way.

For us, brand style is about how a brand feels, how it speaks to me, what stories it tells and, at the end of the day, how we can use this to imbue the brand with a new idea.

Of course, brand style also encom­pass­es the tra­di­tion­al ele­ments like a logo, font, colours, shapes, images and so on. No ques­tion about it. But that’s where our skill lies: it’s what we’ve been doing at IDEENHAUS for hun­dreds of brands since 1989.
