‘For me, design is more than just taste — it’s the intel­li­gent translation of a strat­e­gy that makes brands great and gen­er­ates sales. The cre­ative process behind every successful label makes my work par­tic­u­lar­ly ful­fill­ing.’

I was already inter­est­ed in design and how codes affect us humans during my stud­ies. Back then, I would never have thought about how brands can be trans­lat­ed from a strat­e­gy and how method­i­cal, but also cre­ative, this can be.

To some, a label may be a label, but we know that a label is a multi-million-dollar sales driver for our cus­tomers. Design must there­fore always follow a method­i­cal intel­li­gence and taste takes second place. That’s why it’s always great when we can talk to cus­tomers in the process not about flavour, but about the translation from the strat­e­gy.

This is not only fun for every­one involved, but also takes the dis­dain for my per­for­mance out of brand devel­op­ment.
